Francisco de Paula Enrique de Borbón y Escasany, V Duque de Sevilla, Grande de España (nacido el 16 de noviembre de 1943), es el actual Duque de Sevilla y pariente lejano de la familia real española[1] Es empresario y se ha dedicado a la banca, al sector inmobiliario y a otras actividades comerciales[2][3][4].

Nació en Madrid como hijo mayor de Francisco de Borbón y Borbón (1912-1995),[5] que era el hijo menor de Francisco de Borbón y de la Torre y de Enriqueta de Borbón y Parade, IV Duquesa de Sevilla. [Su madre fue Enriqueta Escasany y Miquel (1925-1962), hija de Ignacio Escasany y Ancell y de Enriqueta de Miquel y Mas, 2ª Marquesa de Pobla de Claramunt[1].

Sus abuelos paternos eran primos hermanos, siendo ambos nietos del Infante Enrique de España[1] El Duque de Sevilla es miembro de la rama española de la Casa de Borbón y es pariente del Rey Felipe VI de España, ya que ambos son descendientes por línea masculina del Rey Carlos IV de España.

Se casó por segunda vez el 19 de octubre de 1991 en Viena con Isabelle Eugénie Karanitsch (nacida el 23 de noviembre de 1959 en Viena), hija de Franz M. Karanitsch y Tatjana Cimlov Karacevcev. No tuvieron hijos y se divorciaron el 17 de junio de 1993 en Madrid.
